We can be reached from Pescara airport, which is around 50 kilometres away, and from Ancona, around 100 kilometres away. On request, we can arrange taxi transfers (paid service). Connections by bus to Rome’s Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.
If you plan to arrive by train at Alba Adriatica station, which is around 2 kilometres from the hotel, you can calculate the price of the ticket and check the timetables on the Trenitalia website. The stations of Giulianova (10 km to the south) and San Benedetto del Tronto (15 km to the north) are also quite convenient, and can be reached by taxi.
You will doubtless have heard of Alba Adriatica with its promenade shaded by palms, its silver beach, its cycle track connected to the nearby resorts. You will be well aware that is the perfect place for a peaceful, fun holiday with family and friends. All we know is that, once you get to know the place, you’ll take it to your heart! The hinterland is great to explore and just a few kilometres away you’ll find real jewels of nature and art.
To those who ask us whether the Doge is located in the centre or the outskirts, we reply that Alba Adriatica developed as a tourist resort and that everything is concentrated on the promenade, which extends for 3 kilometres and separates us from the beach. In terms of tourism, the so-called “centre” has little to offer, the shops are closed in the evening and there’s no internal road where most of the commercial activity takes place. Along the promenade, there are ice cream parlours and bars, amusement arcades and other attractions for children, and this is where all the events that enliven the summer evenings are staged: concerts, parades, shows, outdoor markets and the famous summer Carnival. Very close to the hotel, there are newspaper kiosks, bazaars, a supermarket, a bank, post office and enjoyable walks but, we can assure you, it is a very peaceful area, far from the nightspots, and this is the guarantee of peaceful nights, even with the windows open wide!
